What is this page? This is Grit's way of providing part of this year's language education for my mini linguists, Shark, Tiger, and Squirrel.

Each week the junior grits are given a new assignment: find a word or two in a different language, or come up with an interesting dinner table topic about language and social process.

I don't expect it to make much sense to anyone else ... it's education out of school, our way.
